It is with great sadness that I read of the passing of Moe. Although I have moved from the area, I spent many years at the Country Club of Halifax playing golf with Moe and all of his cohorts. I think that anyone that knew him at least tried his putting stroke more than once! Moe, you will be greatly missed and I will always carry fond memories of our comradery and time on the golf course. My prayers and condolences to the Hassan family.

Mr. Hassan,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Hey Moe; Our friendship started with winning the Nielson and fin ished with your "own" tournament-how fitting. Your warmth and counsel will be sorely missed ol' buddy. Keep your head down.

At times like this it's hard to put into words my feelings for my friend Moe. You always carried yourself with an abundant amount of dignity and grace. You will be sorely missed not only by me but your regular "fivesome" of Dick, Charlie, Dave & I. Everyone at the Country Club of Halifax will miss you but we will also remember the great times we had there with you.
May you rest in peace.
