Eleanor Soule Obituary

Eleanor Louise Soule Brewster Eleanor Louise Soule, 83, of Brewster, formerly of Brockton, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, Sept. 29, after a long illness. Born in Brockton to the late Cleon A. and Beatrice F. (Spring) Baker, she graduated Brockton High School in 1942. From there, she graduated from Forsythe Dental School and worked as a dental hygienist for many years, retiring from the West Bridgewater schools. Eleanor was very active in the Christ Congregational Church, UCC, in Brockton. She lived in Brockton until 2006, moving to Brewster. She was the wife of the late Earle F. Soule, who died June 22, 2006. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening and was an expert seamstress. Mrs. Soule is survived by her children, Donna F. Jones and husband Mike of Brockton, Gary F. Soule of Delray, Fla., and Janet Norton and husband Peter of Brewster. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Cheryl, Jennifer, Derek, Michelle, Kerry and Lisa; one grandchild, Parker Soule; and her sister, Marion Tevlin of Florida. Her brother, the late Edward Baker, predeceased her. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. in the Christ Congregational Church, UCC, 1350 Pleasant St., Brockton. A visitation will be prior from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Church. Interment will be held the same day at 1:45 p.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Memorial donations may be made to the Radio Ministry of Christ Congregational Church, UCC, 1350 Pleasant St., Brockton, MA 02301; or Epoch Senior Healthcare of Brewster, 873 Harwich Road, Brewster, MA 02631. Arrangements under the direction of Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, West Harwich.

My name is Andrea Fall and I worked with your Dad Earle at Shaws supermarkets for many years before he retired.
Your Mom was such a wonderful lady. I am very sorry to read about her passing.
I was fortunate to have known both of your parents, they were such loving and caring people.
