Anna Waltha Obituary

Anna T Waltha QUINCY â€" Anna T. (Owesney) Waltha, passed away October 2, 2007 at the John Adams Health Care Center in Quincy at age 96, formerly of Allston and Hyde Park. She was raised and educated at the Massachusetts General Hospital School in Canton. She was a retired seamstress, who was an avid sports fan and enjoyed politics and current events. Anna was the beloved wife of the late Alphonse G. Waltha, and is survived by her sister-in-law Anne Knasas of Quincy, her brother-in-law Joseph Waltha of San Diego, CA and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm St., (off Hancock St.), Quincy Center, on Saturday, October 6 at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John's Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Friday from 5-9 p.m. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery in Hyde Park. For directions and online guest book, please visit our website at dennissweeneyfuneralhome.com
