Claire Duggan Obituary

Claire A Duggan Brockton â€" Claire A. (Karns) Duggan, 73 years, died Oct. 3, 2007, after a period of failing health. Wife of the late Thomas J. Duggan. Born and raised in Dorchester, daughter of the late Henry and Josephine (Cartey) Karns, she had been a resident of Brockton for the past 40 years. She was the mother of Thomas J. Duggan Jr. of Seattle, Daniel P. Duggan of New Hampshire, Dianne S. Severance of Falmouth, Dorothy A. Robichaud of Falmouth and Patricia Hurley of Plymouth; grandmother of Daniel P. Duggan Jr., Collin P. Duggan, Artie “AJâ€� Robichaud, Madison Robichaud and the late Shannah Duggan; sister of Dorothy and Alfred Karns and the late Ruth Munn and Lorraine Colman; and sister-in-law of Helen McGrail. Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Saturday at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish at 9 a.m. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
