Dear Nicky, Billy and families:
We were very sad to hear of Uncle Mac's passing. And so soon after Uncle Gordon. I still remember the visits home in the summer and how much fun we all had. One occasion especially when I was very small---Uncle Mac and Aunt Rena were going fishing up at the wharf in Lr. East Pubnico and took me along. I was about 4. They didn't tell Nanny or Mama Hubbard however. Nanny and Mama thought I fell in the old well at the bottom of the hill. Did your dad ever get a peeling when we got home.
He called me Gabby Hayes because he said when I learned to talk, I never shut up.
Even though we hadn't seen him for a long time, he has been in our hearts and he will be greatly missed.
Love to you all from all of us.
Carolyn and Alan, Joyce and Marshall, JoAnn and Earl and the rest of the family.
