Eugenia Monaco Obituary

Eugenia A Monaco WINCHENDON â€" Eugenia A. “Anneâ€� Rudolph Monaco, 79, of 56 Krantz Road, died Saturday, October 6th in the UMASS Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on June 11,1928, the daughter of Henry and Thelma (Odam) Shirah and lived in Dorchester for 50 years until moving to Winchendon three years ago. Anne was a retired store manager for Dependable Cleaners in Quincy. She was a graduate of Jordan High School in Columbus, GA. Anne was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She leaves her husband of 22 years, Alexander A. Monaco; five children, William P. White and his wife Patsie of Orlando, FL, Cynthia Rudolph of Weymouth, Janis Winchester and her husband, Thomas of Newbury Park, CA., Michelle Williamson and her husband Rick of Randolph and Michael Lee and his wife Penny of Winchendon; two brothers, Henry Shirah of Pensacola, FL and Charles Shirah of Baton Rouge, LA, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 9th at 10 A.M. in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Monday, October 8th from 6 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA. 01701.
