Ruth Picanzo Obituary

Ruth E Picanzo Raynham â€" Ruth E. (Raymond) Picanzo, age 68 years, of Raynham, formerly of Brockton, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 06, 2007, at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the beloved wife of Robert J. Picanzo Sr. for 51 years. Born Thursday, Jan. 19, 1939, in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Ethel (Gay) Raymond. Ruth was educated in Brockton schools and was later a homemaker, who was devoted to her family. She loved animals, word puzzles and the changing seasons in New England. In addition to her husband Robert, she is survived by her children, Brenda McCarthy of Boston, Robert Picanzo Jr. of Raynham, Paula and Charles Papineau of West Bridgewater, Ruth-Anne and Michael Almeida of Brockton, Andrea Picanzo of Raynham and Sally Higgins of Taunton; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Raymond and Richard Raymond; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Robert Raymond. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at 9 a.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton. Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery in East Bridgewater. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, from 4-8 p.m. For additional information, please visit www.d-mfh.com.
