Stanley Lawson Obituary

Stanley C Lawson Jr. Abington â€" Stanley C. Lawson Jr., 69, died Friday, Oct. 12. He was the former husband of Patricia A. (Solomon) Lawson of Plympton. Born in Brockton, he was a son of the late Stanley C. and Doris I. (Sanders) Lawson. He was a lifelong resident of Abington and attended Abington schools. Mr. Lawson worker for more than 35 years as a shipper and receiver for Alden Products of Brockton and was a member of the 49ers Club of Bridgewater for more than 40 years, as well as, a member of the Sons of Italy in Rockland for 10 years. In addition to his former wife, he is survived by his children, Cheryl Force of Abington, Sheila Lawson of Wareham, Charles Lawson of Plympton, Stanley Lawson III of Taunton, Irene Campbell of Bridgewater and Joseph Lawson of Abington. He is also survived by nine grandchildren. His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle), Whitman. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 4-8 p.m. Donations may be made in his name to the MSPCA, 1300 West Elm St. Ext., Brockton, MA 02301. www.blanchardfc.com.
