Profoundly sorry for the loss of your mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother. My next door neighbor as a child, Mrs. McHugh. A beautiful woman with an even more beautiful smile is what I remember. Adoring of her children, and adored by her children. I could never get enough of watching her play the piano. There were 2 Irish songs in particular she played whose names escape me now. I remember her sewing; she made clothes for her daughters, and redecorated their bedrooms, "How lucky they are" I thought. As a mother of 8 children, she was busy, but not too busy to be a friend to my mother, the mother of 6. Mary would come to the back door and instead of knocking, she had her own inimitable way of announcing herself. She used the back of her hand and the diamond in her ring to make 7 taps on the glass door. No question; it was Mrs. McHugh - a gem herself.
My most sincere condolences to the entire McHugh family.
