Kim Leonard Obituary

Kim A. (Moody) Leonard QUINCY Kim A. (Moody) Leonard, age 41, of Quincy, died suddenly, Sunday, October 21, 2007 at the Quincy Medical Center. She was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a graduate of Quincy Vo-Tech, Class of 1984. She was a lifelong Quincy resident. Mrs. Leonard was a special needs school bus driver for twenty-two years. For the past eight years, she has worked for YCM Transportation of Norwood. Mrs. Leonard enjoyed cooking and was well known for her cake decorating. She enjoyed spending time at the ocean with her family. Beloved wife for ten years of Robert W. Leonard. Devoted mother of Ashley L. Shannon of Quincy. Sister of George E. Moody III of Boston, Glenn E. Moody, Susan L. Moody, both of Quincy, Robert M. Moody of Saugus and the late Paul L. Moody. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Friday, October 26 at 11 a.m. Rev. M. Alicia Corea will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours Thursday, 4-8 p.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Please know if I were aware of a dear friends passing I would have been there to pay my respects.Kim was a wonderful friend to me in middle school and high school. I am so shocked to hear of her untimely passing my prayers are with her family.Kim made a difference in everyones life she touched thanks for the memories.

I was so surprised to hear about kim and it wasnt until after the services or my family would have been there we all love and will always remember her for the great person she always was. She was like a big sister to me when I was growing up and was always looking out for me.

I'm so sorry to hear about kim. I found out today at work from another girl who knew her. Kim and I use to babysit together down the neck when we were teenagers. We had good times together. She will be greatly missed.

We couldnt believe it when we heard about Cousin Kim. What a terrible shock! My family and I are so sorry to hear about her sudden passing. We appologize for not being able to be at the Thurs nite wake. But our thoughts and prayers are with you. I will attend the Funeral services on friday. Our condolences to her entire family.

I met Kim when we went to Great Hill Elementary School. Even back then she was so nice to me. I am shocked and very sad at her passing.

What a terrible shock! My family and I are so sorry to hear about Kim. She was a lot of fun when we were all kids. She was a good friend as well. My sympathy goes out to the family. I appologize for not being able to be at the services. But our thoughts and prayers are with you!!!
