Judith A. Newell

Judith A. Newell East Bridgewater Judith A. Newell (Mitchell), a lifelong resident of East Bridgewater, died after a long illness on Tuesday at Brockton Hospital, she was 65. Born in Stoughton, daughter of the late Edward & Emma (Frank) Mitchell, she was raised and educated in East Bridgewater. She worked as a Home Health Aide for over 30 years for N.H.I. in Braintree and Affinity Home Health Care in Plymouth. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, drinking tea, sewing and baking. She is survived by her husband Henry A. Newell, a son, David D. Newell of Brockton, her sister Gayle Coy of Clifton, ME. She was also the aunt of Carolyn Flanagan of Bridgewater, Bonnie Lima of East Taunton and Joseph Coy of SC. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday in the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., E. Bridgewater at 11 a.m. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
