Barbara Jean Halle Weymouth Barbara Jean (Wagner) Halle, October 24, 2007. Born in Boston, raised and educated in Holyoke. Proud graduate of Holyoke High School and also both North Hampton Commercial College and Quincy College. She was a U.S. Navy Wave Veteran WWII. Retired in 1985 as a secretary with Weymouth School System after many years. She was an avid golfer. Beloved wife of George F. Halle. Loving mother of Jane Halle Gnong of Marshfield, Patricia A. (Halle) Arigo and her husband William J. Arigo of Kingston and the late James Halle. Devoted grandmother of Andrea L. Gnong of Quincy, Erika L. Gnong of VA, Krista M. Gnong of Marshfield, Stephanie E. and Scott J. Arigo both of Kingston. Sister of Mary Wagner Ripa of Holyoke and the late Anna Wagner Cole. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, E. WEYMOUTH on the corner of Middle and Charles Sts. (at Central Sq.)Sat. 12 noon. Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends invited. Mrs. Halle,
Maam, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served as a U.S. Navy WAVE during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
