Louis Paul Pederzani PLYMOUTH Louis Paul Pederzani, of Plymouth, age 80, died at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth following a long illness. He was the devoted husband of Doris M. (Youngman) Pederzani of Plymouth and loving father of Paul Pederzani and his wife Donna both of Norwell. He was the cherished grandfather of Courtney, Brittney, Matthew and Robert Pederzani and Victoria and Mikayla Pagnini. He was great-grandfather Brianna Lynn Fahey. He was son of the late Anna (Nicholson) Pederzani and step-son of the late Theodore Facchini. Mr. Pederzani was son-in-law of the late Daniel and Mary Youngman and brother of the late Ruth (Pederzani) Santos, Gloria and Theodore Facchini. He leaves his sister-in-laws, Nellie Barboza, Peggy Arena and Diane Connor and brother-in-laws Daniel Youngman, and David Connor.He was predeceased by his brother-in-laws John Youngman and Paul Arena. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Pederzani was a devoted parishioner of St. Marys Church in No. Plymouth, having served as a lector and Eucharistic Minister. For over twenty-five years he served as President of the St. Marys Activities Commission. He worked on the Board of Directors of the Holy Ghost Society, and was Past President of the Portuguese-American Civic League. He was a Pioneer Partner of the Telephone Pioneers and a fifty-two year member of the Duxbury Post of the American Legion. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. The funeral will take place on Saturday morning at 9:15 from the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Marys Church, 313 Court St., Plymouth, at 10:00 a.m. Friends are welcome at the Cartmell Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the St. Marys Church or Jordan Hospital Office of Philanthropy, 275 Sandwich St., Plymouth 02360.
