Dear Morelli family,
I am writing to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am one of Tim's former nursing students at the college of Mt Saint Vincent in NY. Thank you for sharing him with us. He was a great friend, an excellent class president and always lead with a positive force. We all miss him greatly and share a part of your pain. It is comforting to know that our creator is a God of all comfort and he listens to our cries for help in distressing and difficult times (PS 34:15). He gives us the tools to cope.
Thanks again for sharing Tim with us. I am sure he was a true reflection of all of you.
Love, Nnenna Meed.

I was one of Timothy's nurses at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Even in sickness he was able to maintain a smile, a sense of humor, and extreme kindness toward everyone who entered his room. We are all so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I attended Nursing School with Tim. We actually presented the eucharist together to the Cardinal during the Catholic Healthcare Mass at St Patrick's Cathedral in November 2004. After the Mass Tim met my husband and my children.
Tim was just a great guy. He was a very nice person, smart, funny, just one of those people who stays on your mind.
I knew he was sick, but I was very saddened to learn of his passing.
As someone who got to know him, as a sister (one of six like Tim) and as a mother, my heart is broken wide open tonight for the entire Morelli family.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Tim is looking over us all.

The golden moments in the stream of life rush past us and we see nothing but sand; the angels come to visit us, and we only know them when they are gone. ~George Elliot
Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for one less angel walks on this earth. I knew Timmy but briefly, but he gave me a lifetime of valuable lessons about loving and life. Thank you for giving him to us. And I want to express my condolences, but all other words seem so futile right now. I am very sorry for your loss.

Jerry,Marianne and kids,
Doug and I are deeply sadden at the loss of Timothy. Someome once told me (about death) that it doesn't get easier it gets different. So true. Please know that all of you are in my prayers and I will be with you tomarrow in spirit. I love you all and if anyone wants to get away please come to Florida to be with us. Now a story (Marianne you already have heard this) we will hold in our hearts.
Timothy and Mary came to visit us in Fl (1995). We were at a condo on the beach when a hurricane was approaching. The winds were whipping and howling. Tim quitely packed his bags and set them at the front door as if to say, "I'm afaid and lets get out of here." Doug announced that we were going to weather it out. The rest of us were not as eager to do so.
Tim, you were so brave and weathered the cancer storm. There are no hurricanes to be afaid of in heaven and no suitcases are needed.
Love your cousin,
Mary Jo

I found this poem a few months ago when a dear friend of mine lost her baby boy. I hope it helps you find the same peace & comfort. God bless you, Tim was an amazing person, as are all of your children.

To All Parents
by Edgar Guest
"I'll lend you for a little time a child of mine," He said.
"For you to love the while he lives and mourn when he is dead,
"It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three,
"But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?
"He'll bring his charms to gladden you, but should his stay be brief,
"You'll have his lovely memories, as solace for your grief,
"I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return,
"But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.
"I've looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true,
"And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes I have selected you.
"Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labor vain,
"Nor hate me when I come to call to take him back again?
I fancied that I heard them say: "Dear Lord, Thy will be done!
"For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter him with tenderness; we'll love him while we may,
And for happiness we've known forever grateful stay.
"But should the angels call for him much sooner than we'd planned,
"We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand."
