Elvera Chase Obituary

Elvera G. Chase Wollaston Elvera G. (Franz) Chase, age 85, of Wollaston, died, Wed., Nov. 7, 2007 after a brief illness. Born in Boston, she grew up in Roslindale and lived for over 60 years in Wollaston. Mrs. Chase was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling weekly with her friends in Natick. Beloved wife of 60 years of the late Hollis R. Chase, she is survived by her devoted children; Charles Chase & his wife, Donna of Quincy, Elaine Chase and her husband, Bob Salow of Natick and Joan Chase Kuhn and her husband, Al of Hanover, her loving grandchildren; Laura and Stephen Chase, Gregory & Christopher Mowczko and Diane and David Kuhn, her childhood friend, Anna Taranto and her many Wednesday bowling buddies. She was the sister of the late Charles Franz, who died in WW II. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Mon. at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Sun. 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the Michael J.
