Retired in 1980 as a Broad Cast Engineer with GBH channel 2 after 18 years. Member of the U.S. Coast Guard for 6 years. Long time member of the Holy Name Society of St. Francis Xavier Church in So. Weymouth also a church greeter and a Eucharistic Minister. Former member of the Knights of Columbus of So. Weymouth. Avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. Enjoyed gardening and taking trips with the senior citizens. Beloved husband of the late Mary Rita (Mahoney) Kane. Loving father of Kathleen Shamberger of Georgetown, MA, Patricia Kane of So. Weymouth and the late Mary G. Bartlett. Devoted brother of Marie Albert of Long Island, NY and the late Peter and Matthew Kane. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
