John Anderson Obituary

John C. Anderson Weymouth John C. "Andy" Anderson of Weymouth, formerly of Braintree, died on Sunday, November 25, 2007 at the Quincy Medical Center. He was 75 years of age. Born in Lawrence, MA, he was raised and educated in Weymouth and had lived in Braintree for 35 years before moving back to Weymouth 8 years ago. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Anderson was a sheet metal worker and had retired in 1994. He was a member of the Adams Heights Men's Club and Moose Club in Quincy Beloved husband of Geraldine N. (Moriarty) Anderson. Devoted father of Robert M. Anderson of Norwell, Paul F. Anderson of Weymouth, William M. and James P. Anderson, both of Braintree and Patricia Zwicker, also of Braintree. Loving brother of Andrew Anderson of Quincy, Lillian Junkins of Weymouth and Margaret Murphy of AZ. Also survived by 7 loving grandchildren. A Prayer Service will conclude visiting hours on Wednesday evening 4-8 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH, at 809 Main St., (Rte. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital). Mr. Anderson,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
