Dorothy Durgin Obituary

Dorothy E. Durgin South Weymouth Dorothy E. (Holbrook) Durgin a life long resident of South Weymouth passed away at her home on November 28 at the age of 80. Dorothy is the beloved wife of the late Benjamin A. Durgin and the loving mother of Janet D. Fusco of S. Weymouth and the late Nancy L. Fleming. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Jennifer Fusco, Robert W. Fusco Jr. and Cheryl Pirkl all of S. Weymouth, 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her beloved Boston Terrier, Teri. Mrs. Durgin was born in Windsor, CT before moving to S. Weymouth. She worked for Grasse Instruments in Braintree, for 15 years before retiring in 1979. When she was younger she loved dancing with her husband. She had a great sense of humor, loved her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren, working in her flower garden, crocheting, doing cross word puzzles and cooking pizzelles. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the Funeral from the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Saturday December 1 at 8:30 A.M and the Funeral Mass at St. Albert the Great Church, 1140 Washington St. Weymouth at 9:30 A.M. Visiting Hours will be on Friday 4 to 6 P.M.
