Joan M. Pitts Quincy Joan M. (Connelly) Pitts, one of the first meter maids for the City of Quincy, died Wednesday November 28 at Caritas Carney Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness. She was 76 years old. Wife of the late Harry P. Pitts Jr., (Q.F.D.). Mother of Richard F. and his wife Maryann Pitts, Mary Pitts Taylor, Kevin E. Pitts, Cheryl Pitts-Rogier, Gregory P. and his wife Tresa Pitts and Shauna M. Pitts. Grandmother of Matthew, Brendan and Patrick Pitts, Ryan and Robbie Taylor, Jaclyn and Harrison Pitts and great-grandmother of Kaylee Donaher. Sister of Marjorie Mahoney and the late Marion Reynolds, Joseph Connelly, Francis Connelly and Geraldine Earley. Joan is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Milton, Monday December 3 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited.
