Richard Vargus Obituary

Richard Vargus Rockland Richard Vargus 56, died Sunday November 25th in the Coyne Healthcare Center of Rockland after a period of failing health. Born in Brockton he was the son of the late Frank and Dorothy (Richardson) Vargus. He was a 12 year resident of Whitman, and an active member of the First Congregational Church Of Whitman, where he attended services each Sunday. He loved the outdoors and was a participant in the Special Olympics. Richard was a kind, loving soul and touched the hearts of those he met. He leaves behind his brother of Frank L. Vargus and his wife Deborah S. of Weymouth, his nephew Michael F. Vargus also of Weymouth, and many beloved friends. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday December 4 in the First Congregational Church, Whitman. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to the First Congregational Church of Whitman, 519 Washington Street, Whitman, MA 02382.
