Dear my sweet Lael,

Already I miss you soooo much. . . Nookie and myself are clueless on what to do with ourselves. We miss you so much and I want you back home. I know that's not gonna happen, but all I can do is wish, right? You will always be in my heart forever and ever. I love you so much, and always will! Tell my mom I said hi! Love you always and forever - Lisa and Nookie

Lael was a funny and loving person. I will miss him greatly. Even when he was sick, he loved to talk and joke around. He did not always have it easy because of his illness, but he was determined to fight and live life the way he wanted to. I am proud to have been one of Lael's nurses at Children's, and I will never forget him or all that he taught me. My sympathies to his family and friends, my thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

My vivid memories of Lael came to life today with a phone call from one of his classmates. I remeber his intelect, humor and good nature. I am proud of his accomplishments. I wish God had provided him more time. God Bless to his mom!
