The last time my Dad (Paul Cunha) and I saw your family was at your Uncle Jack's wake in Arlington, about 10 years ago. Our fathers were the last 2 left of that generation of Cunha's. My Dad now lives near me in Arizona in an assisted living facility; he turned 91 two months ago. We're sorry for your loss.

Mr. Cunha,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I remember Dick from Monroe Company back in the mid 60's. He drove up in a new Toyota car one day, and everyone laughed at his purchase of "that foreign piece of junk". He just smiled-little did they know...Dick was a hard working helpful person who never stopped doing his best at that failing company. I always considered him a good friend.
May he rest in peace.

Dear Cunha family, I am so sorry to read of your father's passing on, but I know that he is with your wonderful mother in a place of unending joy. Your dad was living at Sunrise in Plymouth at the same time my father-in-law was there, and I was glad that I got the chance to speak with him. Your mother was the first Kindergarten teacher I met when I started teaching music in Scituate back in 1971! I was so very fond of her! Know that I am thinking of all of you. Sincerely, Joanne D'Andrea Cook, retired music teacher from Wampatuck School
