Mr. Bellows was a fixture in the Sharon Public School System for 26 years - he started as a sixth grade teacher at the Cottage St. School in 1954. He was the first principal of Heights Elementary School, and became the first principal of East Elementary School in 1958 until his retirement in 1981. To the Bellows Family, please accept my heartfelt sympathy over the loss of your Dad/grandfather.
Fred and I worked together as principals in Sharon. We also met socially and enjoyed many good times together in both our homes and at professional conferences. He was always quick to see how words could be used to have fun. Rest in Peace, Fred.
