Mr. Rutledge,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army with the 11th Airborne Division during WW II. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. The 11th Airborne saw extensive action in the Phillipines at Leyte and Luzon during the War.

Barbara, My heartfelt sympathy as I knew how you and Alex adored each other. You and Alex made quite an impact on my late husband and me when you sold one of our homes and helped us buy the other one. We got a hoot out of the way you two communicated with each other. It was fun. You were a great team.
