Timothy Ruger Obituary
Age 48, of 211 Veteran Hill Rd., Horseheads, passed away with his family at his side after an incredible battle with cancer on Saturday, March 22, 2008. His service will be celebrated at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 South Main Street, Horseheads, on Thursday, March 27, at 10:00.

Dona, I am devastated. I wish I had known when he died so I could have been there for you in any way that you needed. I don't get the newspaper so I didn't here until much later. We have been through some wonderful timestogether. Tim was a great guy who always was there when you needed him. We always talked about getting together but never quite made it. I am sad now that it is too late. You know I love you both and I am here for you if you need me. I will pray for you and the children. God will be with you so just lean on him. Remember that now Tim is in a better place and has no pain. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to you and your family. I know you did your best which is better than most could to help Tim in his battle with cancer which is why you had that extra year and a half together. to tim: it does not seem like this is real - just 20 years ago jessica came your first daughter , then came steven. didn't michael love having a little sister and little brother, as with your parents beig so proud of you starting a family.(i thank you so much for beautiful children you gave me "pease watch over them and keep them all safe"). you were taken from this life to young - but i look as it as god has special plans for you & this is why they say only the good die young. we will all make sure that dona,chris and courtney are okay. i thank you again - god bless

To Tim - I will miss all our times partying at Spring creek, Ridge Rd., and in the Post @ the house when you and Dona brought Christopher up to swim in the pool. But most of all I will miss you and my sister together. After 11 years, how does one picture anything else? I never looked at you like a brother-in-law, only as a party buddy and my sisters best boyfriend. Rest in peace.
