ZAHORIAN, Barbara Jane
Retiree NYSEG
Age 74, of Hazel Street, Southport, NY, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2008, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Barbara is survived by her fiancé, Thomas Bush; children, Gregory (Susan) Zahorian, of Elmira, NY, Irene (Larry) Watson of Murrells Inlet, SC, Mark (Amy) Zahorian of Snellville, GA, Sarah Zahorian of Elmira, NY; stepson, Timothy (Alicia) Brown of Elmira, NY; grandchildren, Toni and Michael Zahorian, Melissa and Joshua Cleveland, Molly and Nikolas Zahorian, and Melissa Loeb; brothers, John R. Hague, and Charles (Teresa) Hague; and several nieces and nephews. Barbara is predeceased by her husband's, Anthony Zahorian Jr., and Joseph J. Brown; and parents, Robert E. and Ada J. Hague. Barbara enjoyed reading, traveling, watching the Atlanta Braves, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. Barbara will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the B.P.O. Does Drove #181 of the Elmira Elks Lodge for nine years, and the American Legion Auxiliary for 32 years. Family and friends are invited to gather at Baker Family Funeral Home on Monday, July 7, 2008, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with Funeral and Committal Services at the conclusion of calling hours; Pastor Don Guiles officiating. A celebration of Barbara's life will take place at the Elmira Elks Lodge immediately following the funeral services. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family. The family will provide flowers. Those wishing may make memorial donations in Barbara's honor to the American Heart Association.
