Harold McClure Obituary
Age 75, of 1107 Oak St., Elmira, NY. He was born May 6, 1933 in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late Harold and Madeline (Martin) McClure, and passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. He was predeceased by his wife, Beulah in 1984; and son, Ronald in 2005; and is survived by his children, Angela and Steve McArthur, Harold McClure III, all of Minneapolis, MN, Ronda and George Ross of Las Vegas, NV; their mother, Doris McClure of Minneapolis, MN; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Bernice Dozier of Elmira; stepbrother, Gary Fleming of Minneapolis, MN; special friends, Eunice Felton of Binghamton, NY, and Savannah Reid of Elmira; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Harold was a U.S. Army veteran serving during Korea. He retired from Kennedy Valve and was a member of the Queen City Temple #146, I.B.P.O.E. of W. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira, on Monday, July 14th, from 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers will be offered there on Tuesday, July 15th, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Ss. Peter & Paul Church. Rev. Walter L. Wainwright, Celebrant. Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.

My husband and i would like to express our deepest sympathy. Mr. Mcclure was very kind to us both and our children and when we had no other place to go he allowed us to move in right next to him. We will keep you in our prayers. Thanks again to Angie and god bless your family.
