To the daughters of Stuart M. Smith:
I am the granddaughter of Blanche E. Mallory Pepperman. My mother, Vivian Pepperman Rinker, was your father's cousin. When she passed on 32 years ago, I lost contact with your family. I knew Fay had passed on many years ago, but that was the only information I had about your family.
My mother told me many stories about when she was a child and spent her summers with her Aunt Nellie and Uncle Charlie on the farm. She was in heaven on earth. She also told me stories about your father. I remember that he was very handsome and well spoken. You girls had a lovely family.
In deepest sympathy,
Diane Rinker Poff
