UHLER, Aimee M.
of Elmira, NY
Was born November 14, 1983, in Montour Falls, NY, the daughter of John P. and Marilyn (Walker) Uhler and passed away very unexpectedly on Saturday, July 12, 2008, at the age of 24. Her beloved father, John P. Uhler predeceased her in 2004. She is survived by her loving son, John P. O'Neill at home; fiancé, Michael O'Neill of Elmira; loving mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Eric VanStrander of Elmira; brother, Scott Uhler (Laurie Havens) of Elmira; sister, Christa Uhler of Elmira; stepbrothers, Eric VanStrander stationed in Iraq, Christopher VanStrander of Elmira; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Aimee enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time on her computer. She was an outstanding cook and liked preparing meals. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Thursday, July 17, 2008, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services honoring her life and celebrating her memory will be held there following the 1 p.m. visitation. Father Edward Murphy will celebrate Aimee's service. Interment, Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for her family in obituaries at www.olthof.com.
