Guenter Bartsch Obituary
Of Horseheads, NY, passed away Friday morning, July 18, 2008, at the Chemung County Health Department after an extended illness. He retired from Schweizer's Aircraft Corp. in Big Flats, NY with over thirty five years. Guenter is survived by his wife, Lisa Bartsch; sons, Erich (Faith) Bartsch, Mark (Lexi) Bartsch and Andrew (Cheryl) Bartsch, all of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren, Adam, Cassandra and Amanda; and a dear family friend, Linda Haag. It was the family's wishes that there be no calling hours. Those wishing to remember Guenter may make contributions to the SPCA, 2435 St. Route 352, Elmira, NY 14903-7933 or the Special Olympics, 1133 19th St., N.W., Washington, DC 20036 in his memory. Arrangements are entrusted to Sullivan's Funeral Home, Horseheads, NY.

My sympathies to the family. Although Guenter was only with us for a short time I will miss him dearly . I took care of him at CCNf. He was a wonderfull man and I always enjoyed our time together .Again my condolences.....Linda
