Sherry Gee Obituary
Age 46, of Tioga, PA and recently of El Paso, TX, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Sherry was the wife of Mark E. Gee, celebrating their 27th wedding anniversary on July 11, 2008. Sherry was born on January 7, 1962 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Robert and Betty (Sherman) Stone. She had been employed by Crowley Foods in Arkport, NY, and was formerly employed by Bordens Eagle Family and Smuckers. Sherry enjoyed being a soccer mom. Sherry was the mother of Mark T. and Cynthia Gee of Corning, NY, Ashley D. Gee and her fiancé Andrew Moyar of Las Cruces, New Mexico; a granddaughter to be born in September of 2008, Olivia Sherry Ann Gee; sister and brother-in-law, Penney and Randy Heffner of Tioga, PA; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Joan Stone of Tioga, PA; her parents, Robert and Betty "Toot" Stone of Tioga, PA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold "Pete" and Helen "Cookie" Gee of Tioga, PA; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carl and Vicky Gee, Mike and Kathy Gee, Carman Gee, Scott and Kristi Gee, all of Tioga, PA; uncles, Arthur "Butch" and Debora Sherman of Mansfield, PA, Myron and JoAnn Tongue of Cicero, NY; special cousins, Faye and Steve Packard of Bel Alton, MD; former sister-in-law, Sheila Gee; several additional cousins, nieces and nephews, friends and co-workers from Bordens Eagle Family, Smuckers and Crowley; and a special friend, Freeman Covert. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 25, 2008, from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, July 26, 2008, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory and Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral Services will be held following the calling hours on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Doug Hodge officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Tioga, PA. Memorial contributions may be made for her future grandchildren's educational fund, in memory of Sherry Gee, First Citizens National Bank, Gee Educational Fund, 15 S. Dear Mark and Kids
I worked with Sherry at Eagle years ago. Sherry was a beautiful person inside and out. She had a love for you and the kids that shone with pride when she talked about something you did together or an activity that one of the kids accomplished. She was always so proud of her family and it was easy to see that she loved all of you! I know she will be missed every day but take comfort in all the happy memories that you have made together.
