We have only known Tom and Rosalie for two years. We met in Sebring Fla. and enjoyed many hours playing cards, swimming and solving the world's problems. Tom was never without a loud opinion on politics, history or any other subject....sadly the "information center" which was Tom has been quieted for now. I remember seeing his wading pants drying on the porch of the cottage...I was astounded at how tall they were. He wasn't afraid of standing in Florida lakes fishing even though there were plenty of aligators but none had the nerve to take Tom on. We will miss his wide grin and handsome face. His kind heart has been stilled yet it lives on in our hearts and in our memories. We still have Rosalie who Tom loved so much and we are thankful to have her and thankful we knew Tom.

I first met Tom when I was working for WENY at the time when Tom was working with Cove Hoover in the late 70's early 80's. He and I used to get into some very spirited discussions about a variety of topics from radio, to music, to politics. Tom was a lot of fun and a person I enjoyed knowing.

My sympathy and thoughts to everyone in the Krajci family.. I have been lost friends with Eric and Julie Krajci. I met Tom only once and noticed what a great person he was with only one visit.. My father passed in December of 2007 and I feel your loss as I did with my father.. I hope time will heal all of you in such a good way..

Tom "The Hunk" was also a "Hulk" of a guy, yet, for all his masculinity, he was a fellow lover of cats, and to this day, I'm grateful that he and Rosalie adopted my beloved tabby Cappucino when d
dolores and I moved to Washington,

Tom was a giant of a man:intellectually and physically and yet I never felt demeaned in his presence. He has left indelible imprints on my heart which will miss him much. However, memories of him will enrich me till the day I meet him in the better world. I can imagine his telling me:"What took you so long?"

Tom was a good friend. His passion for fly fishing and life was contagious. His energy in sharing our sport was especially evident in teaching newcomers to the sport or the area. Tom chartered the Twin Tiers chapter of the Federation of Fly Fishers and provided leadership which has sustained our club since. We will deeply miss him. I will deeply miss his friendship and encouragement. I regret that I am on business in Asia and will not be able to attend the funeral. My prayers along with all in the fly fishers club go out to the family.

We have many fond memories of Tom as we got to know him at the reunions of the USS Rendova. I enjoyed working with Tom as he took over the duties of secretary of the Rendova organization and as he was the driving force in starting our newsletter, The Rope Yarn. Our last time together was as we shared a ride to the airport after the San Antonio reunion. We extend heartfelt sympathies to Rosalie and to the family.

Tom ("Teej" to me) brought so much joy into my life. He introduced me to the joys of fly fishing (and how truly handsome a "woolly bugger" can be); he researched and found pictures of the frigates my late father was on during his own time in the Navy; and when, in his booming voice, he'd start a sentence, "So Nicola..." I always knew I was in for a treat! His kindness and big-hearted warmth was a gift he gave every time I saw him and one I will cherish forever. While the physical world will miss him terribly, the spirit world has gained a superstar in dear Teej. A thousand prayers and tons of love to the whole Krajci family...he was just so special.
