Lynn Rinebold Obituary

RINEBOLD, Lynn R.
Age 64, of Gillett, PA, passed away Monday, March 31st, 2008, at the Bath Veterans Hospital, Bath, NY after a courageous battle with cancer. Lynn was the son of the late Earl Rinebold. He was born in Elmira, NY December 16th, 1943. Lynn is survived by his mother, Ruth Wheet Rinebold of Port Charlotte, FL; sister, Gayle (Richard) Sturdevant of Gillett, PA; brother, Lee Rinebold of Port Charlotte, FL; ex-wife, Donna Cokley of Wilkes-Barre, PA; daughter and son-in-law, Heidi and Gerald Price of Hunlock Creek, PA; son, Earl Raymond Rinebold of Wilkes-Barre, PA; stepdaughter, Heather Brown of Mehoopany, PA; grandchildren, Diamond, Alexis, Courtney, Dustin, Tyler; niece and nephew, Rebecca and Brent; great-nieces and nephews, Mallory, Mitchell, Pamela, Lillian, Kyle, Jonathon. Memorial services will be held at Woodlawn National Cemetery, 1825 Davis St., Elmira, Saturday, August 23rd, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., Chaplin Bill Kiser will officiate. Full Military Honors will be accorded in his honor of defending our freedom. Lynn will be remembered by all who knew him for being a very giving person. He was an auto racing fanatic who loved participating on the pit crew for Gene Sharpstein. Lynn drove trucks all over the United States for several carriers since 1982. In 2007, he retired from Jones Motor Co. He was very proud to be an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, as a jet engine technician. He was a very loving brother who in the last year enjoyed getting reconnected with family. Memorials in Mr. Lynn R. Rinebold's name may be directed to HOPTEL c/o The Buffalo VA Hospital, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for her family in obituaries at www.olthof.com.
