Lawrence Brasch Obituary

BRASCH, Lawrence R.
Age 84, of Chemung, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Charles and Teresa (Benzing) Brasch. Lawrence was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn; three sisters and ten brothers. Survivors include his daughters, Evelyn (LeRoy) Howland of Chemung, Sharon (Lewis) Youngs of Pine Valley, and Lauren Oakley of Elmira; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Lawrence served in the Army during WWII and he retired from the City of Elmira. A Memorial Service for Lawrence will be held on Saturday, September 13th, at 4 p.m. at the IDMR Building on the corner of 5th and McGee Street in Elmira. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
