Irene Paulo Obituary

PAULO, Irene E.
Age 84, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2008, at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. She was born on August 29, 1924 in Elmira, NY, to the late Melvin and Myrtle Dannelley. Irene was predeceased by her husband, August Paulo; and son, Sylvester A. Paulo. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Komadina of IL; sisters, Dorothy Dickinson of Elmira, and Cindy (Edward) Coolbaugh of AZ; sister-in-law, Bonnie Paulo of Elmira; grandchildren, Cynthia (Norman) Morse of Elmira, Dwayne (Samantha) Paulo of CO, Shelly Schechtel, Scott Spirawk and Timothy Spirawk, all of IL; great-grandchildren, Kaylah, Keagan, Kirsten and Kolton Morse, all of Elmira, Staci Spirawk, John Spirawk and Anthony Schechtel, all of IL, and Alice Paulo of CO; along with several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, September 30th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place there on Wednesday, October 1st, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Sharon Lee Hairston officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn National Cemetery.
