Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother
Age 84, of Elmira, NY entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 4, 2008, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira/Southport, NY on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with words of tribute being offered by Rev. Douglas Hodge, Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Franklin St., Elmira, NY. Father Richard Farrell Celebrant. Immediately after the Mass, Mary will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Roger in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira. Those wishing may make memorials to Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care, 11751 E. Corning Road, Corning, NY 14830 in Mary's name. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for the family in Obituaries at www.olthof.com

Dear Wheeler family,
I am so sorry to hear about Mary's passing. She was a dear sweet, sweet lady who would in deed help anyone. She enjoyed life to its fullest.
