Lisa and Steve:
As I sit here with tears after reading Lisa's memories of your Dad, I too will never forget the kind fella that he was. As I drive to work in Westfield, going through Elkland, is a reminder of him. May God continue to give all of you comfort and strength in the days ahead. Your Dad would want you to be happy even though your heart breaks.

To My Dad

It seems that it has been a life time since you left me. This past Friday was very difficult. It was the first time in 47 years that you were not there for my birthday. Each day that goes by I remember a funny story or times that we talked. Some of the best memories I will have is the times you would call me on the cell and say what you doning. I would state working what are you doing, outside your office want to go to lunch. So we go spend time just talking. How you told your granddaughter you had a Harley. She still tells that story. Your granddaughters Sweet 16 party that we laughed so hard that our faces hurt. July 4, 2008 riding in the Mansfield parade with you and the party after at Jackie and Carl's house. The night that Erika had a basketball game in Elkland and you went to watch and she did not want to ride the bus home so you brought her home. I guess what hurts the most is that your great-grandkids will never get to know the great man that you are. Little Laila would have been grandpa's little angel. Lukas looks at you picture now and even at two know that is his grandpa. Izaiah is the one who will always have the most movies of grandpa. The times coming to your house to watch cartoons on the huge TV. I will make sure that they will always know who grandpa was. I think one of the things that has kept me strong is all of the wonderful friends you had at PSBA. I talk to Ann a couple times a week. She is really great. The greatest inspiration is Gram. She is the strongest woman I have ever known. So rest easy, Steve and I are taking really good care of her. She said to me that I am so lucky to have My grandkids and daughter and son-inlaw. We make sure that she gets to where she needs to go and she is eating good. I guess that I could go on forever. Know that right now things are a bit crazy, but things will work out for what is right.

All my love always and forever!!!!!!
Your daughter Lisa

I would like to take this time to Thank all of the people that have been so wonderful in our time of loss. If my Dad had to leave us, he was on his way home from loving the job that has made him so very happy. He loved representing the borough association. So again thank you all.
