I haven't seen Holly in a few years. However she was a close friend of mine growing up. She was one of the few people who were there for me during my parents divorce. I will never forget how loving and caring she was to me.

To Holly's family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Mary,
I am so sorry for your loss. Holly was like a daughter to you and I know that you are going to need a shoulder to lean on and I just wanted you to know that I will be your shoulder. Holly, I know that we didn't see each other that often but I always considered you a friend I will miss you, but your with your mom and dad now so RIP and spread your wings and fly.

When I cry you help me out
When I'm happy you hear me shout
When I grin you know I'm really mad
because you are my best friend
You can tell when I'm sad

You're there in thick and thin
You're my best friend
You hear me out when I want to talk
You help me out when I get mad
You are the bestest friend I've ever had

So hear me out when I say
You're the light in my day
You are the moon in my night
You shine very bright
You are the bestest friend I have
and I miss you

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
