EBERLE, Alan C.
Elmira, NY
October 3, 2008; Alan is the son of the late Herman and Olga Petrasek Eberle. He is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Mark and wife, Christa of North Carolina; stepchildren, Kevin Benson, Elmira, NY; Marc, Kelli and Kyle Benson, Williamsport, PA; sister, Carol (Jack) Bundy, Wellsburg, NY; many nieces and nephews. Alan served in the US Navy aboard the USS Ranger and retired form New York State Dept. of Corrections at the Elmira Correctional Facility. He was also employed by Holy Family Intermediate School. It was Alan's wishes there be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held, Saturday, October 11, 2008, at St. Mary's Church, 224 Franklin St. Elmira, NY at 11:30 a.m. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Mary's Church Renovation, 224 Franklin St., Elmira, NY 14904; or Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC 27317.

im so sorry for your loss..Al was my brother inlaw back when he was married to Pat..sinse then she has passed too...al was always so nice to me when i visited there home on west thurston street...i was married to pat brother back in 1975 and al was in my wedding party...

I worked with Al on the Hill back in the mid-80's. He could always be counted on for a hello and a smile as he came barrelling out of the Lt.'s office in the Reception Center. It was truly a pleasure to work with him.
