Muriel Mason Obituary
Went into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, in Jacksonville, Florida. Muriel was born in Elmira, New York on May 30, 1966. She is a 1984 graduate from Elmira Free Academy and is a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Navy retiring in 2006. Muriel served as an Aviation Electronics Technician, Substance Abuse Counselor, and earned her Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management. She leaves to cherish her memory and all those special moments, her loving, devoted husband, Jeffrey A. Mason of Jacksonville, FL; her loving mother, Sharon Jones of Syracuse, NY; sister, Marlynn of Syracuse, NY; niece, Brittney of Syracuse, NY; grandmother, Ann R. Jones of Elmira, NY; and father, James H. Cummings of Buffalo, NY. Survivors also include stepchildren, Dawn Mason of Spartanburg, SC and Christopher Mason of Jacksonville, FL; an aunt, Denise Jones; uncles, David and Douglas Jones; cousins, Todd, Amber, Bryan, and Staci-Ann; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial Services were held at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Jacksonville, FL on September 24, 2008 and her Life's Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. in Monumental Baptist Church, 310 E. Clinton Street, Elmira, NY. Pastor James E. Jones officiating. Muriel's wishes were that all rejoice her vibrant life and to always remember your interactions and relationship with her. "She is at Peace"

My deepest sympathy for Muriel family. I love you all and was very sad to hear of your lost. Sharron your daughter was a great lady and wonderful daughter. I can relate with her though Military terms since we're both retired, but now she's at peace. with prayer we'll all see her again. God bless you all.

Muriel is in a better place. A place where there are no more tears, no more crying, no more pain. She is at peace. She is able to walk around Heaven all day with her loved ones that have passed before her.
