Anna Bahr Obituary

BAHR, Anna Marie
Age 91
Went to be with our Lord Jesus on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at Bethany Manor, Horseheads, NY. Anna was born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Frank and Stephanie (Cambria) DelGenio. She lived much of her life in Elmira Heights, NY. Along with her parents, her husband, Lewis Bahr; and sister, Mary predeceased Anna. She is survived by her friend, Andrea Roman; her Bethany Family; and many friends. Anna loved people; she enjoyed lifting the spirits of those around her. She attended chef school in Buffalo, NY, and enjoyed cooking for friends when she was able to. Later in life, Anna blessed His Tabernacle Family Church with her presents. It was Anna's request that there be no calling hours; family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Monday, October 13, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira/Southport, NY. Her Pastor Michael Spencer will officiate. Interment will take place at a later time. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for the family in Obituaries at www.olthof.com.

Anna was such a dear sweet person. She loved to laugh and she always tried to be happy. She wanted everyone to be happy with her. It was a privilege to know her and she will remain in my heart forever.
