I was quite saddened to learn of Steve's passing. He was really a wonderful, caring, devoted person who possessed a gentle soul, and a kind spirit. I have met few people in my life like Steve. His loss is that to all of us. May God give solace to all of his family and friends and may his memory always be for a blessing.

I met Steve many years ago at Manzari's. He had a smile that was so warm and friendly. We were friends, I had not seen Steve in quite some time, and I always thought about him when I saw the Ehrlich truck. I had no idea he was sick, and it saddens me that he had to leave this earthly life so soon. I will pray for his family, and everyone that was blessed enough to have known him. May you all find comfort in knowing what an honor it was to have such a man to call "husband", "dad" "skip", and the list goes on. I know that I am honored to be able to call him "friend". God Bless.

Linda,
When I was reading the paper and saw Steves face smiling back at me my heart sank for you and his family, as I knew what it meant. However, to see his smile reminded me of the kind, funny and caring person he was. I am so happy for the time he brightened your life and pray that the peace and calm that glowed from him will continue to comfort you.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Steve was known to us here at Corning Incorporated's Houghton Park Complex as "The Rat Man". He was a man who took his profession very serious and went out of his way to provide excellent service. He always ended each monthly visit by saying, "Gentlemen, as always, it has been a pleasure to kill for you".
