Mildred Mahon Obituary

MAHON, Mildred
96, of Town of Fenton, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 11, 2007. She was predeceased by her husband, Neil Mahon; and grandson, David R. Mahon II. She is survived by her sons, David R. Mahon and Ann Shoudy, Donald B. and Joan Mahon, Thomas E. and Gwen Mahon, John C. and Patricia Mahon, Richard and Phyllis Mahon; sister, Dorothy Holden; sister-in-law, Ruth Griffin; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; her very best friend, Gerry Schaaf. Mildred was a member of the Port Dickinson Community Baptist Church who worked as a Sunday school teacher and deaconess. She was a prolific writer in her later years. The family wishes to thank the Renal Care Center at Binghamton General Hospital for their care. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Leon Hebrink officiating at the Port Dickinson Community Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the Port Dickinson Community Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 743 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY 13901.

I am so sorry for your loss. Millie was a wondeful person and not only a pleasure to take care of but it was an honor to be blessed with that angelic smile twice a week. I am sorry that I can not attend the memorial service but you will be in my prayers.
