DONNELLY, William J.
Age 77, of Main Street, Antrim, PA, died November 13, 2007 at his home. Bill was born March 23, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Volk Donnelly. He was a warehouse manager for Huff Paper Company, purchasing manager and warehouse manager for Buff Henley Paper Company, courier for Protective Motor Service (Armored Car), and captain of security at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia. Bill was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed life and helping other people. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and active in community concerns. Bill was an Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, William (Diane) Donnelly, Jr., Philadelphia, PA; daughters and sons-in-law, Laura (Mathias) Schumann, Tucson, AZ, Denise (Gary) Weigl, Tucson, AZ, and Valerie Maloy, Philadelphia, PA; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother, John Donnelly; sisters, Elizabeth Boykin, Middlebury Ctr., PA, Jeanette Dawson, Antrim, PA, Josephine Sherwood, Antrim, PA, and Patricia Hyland, Antrim, PA; beloved friend, Martha Hummell. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Delange. Friends and family are invited to Bill's Life Celebration on Saturday, November 17, 2007, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Central Avenue, Wellsboro, PA. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's with Rev. Joseph Manarchuck officiating. Burial in Antrim Cemetery. If desired, memorials in Bill's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Tioga County Unit, 1948 East Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701; or to the Antrim Cemetery Association.
