Mom is missed every day, I still find myself wanting to call her to talk about the day. I would love to see her with my beautiful little grandchildren, I know they would love her. I tell them stories about their great grandmother and her endless love and show them pictures all the time. I do my best to keep her spirit flowing by sharing her stories and the Love I was given by her. I love and miss you Momma.

When in Death shall we forget the time we spent and the time we missed.
When in Death shall we forget the loved ones we hugged and kissed.
We shall never forget what Death may bring.
We shall never forget that the Morning Dove always sings.

Ray and Family,
We were very sorry to hear about your Mother's passing. We know how much you cared for her and how important it was for you to take care of her. Throughout our lives we witness the passing of friends and other relatives, but losing your Mother is a special loss. She is the one who bore you, loved you and cared for you when you were young and helpless. And that, I believe, is the first and most basic knowledge we gain, and is a part of us all our lives. You were blessed to be able to return some of that love and caring in her time of need.

I found this poem and thought of Mom...
My loves are simple things, the diamond dewdrops on the vine, The honey suckle by the well, these loves are mine. The little heifer in the stall with lovely wandering eyes looks about her tiny world and nibbles at her ties.
My loves are little things that grow and creep and sing. But I could never measure the contentment that they bring. And than my loves are quiet things, they sometimes sleep all day, For it's in the evening that crickets sing and play.
When the peepers and the night birds play their favorite tunes,And when the fireflies light the meadow on a summer night in June; My loves are all so gentle and they never charge a fee, I'm so glad they come visitting and sit a while with me.
The snowflakes in the winter, the willows in the spring,The blackbirds in the hollow with their brilliant scarlet wings,The simple things of summer, the brooks wandering on its way, The berries on the sunit hill, the smell of the new-mown hay.
These and like them, cheer my soul from day to day. For my loves are simple. May God bless them all, I pray. Time goes very swiftly, Like the swallow on the wing, So go softly, through this life and listen to it sing.

I am very sorry for your loss. Having spoken with Doug and Dale over the past few weeks I know that "mom" is in a better place. She always welcomed me into her own home as one of her many kids and I will always remember that. If you need anything please let me know.

Dear Dale, Cheryl, Ray, Betty, & Doug . . . Hilda had such a long battle, that no one should have had to suffer, but she was such a great fighter, and she kept her sense of humor like no one we've ever known. We are thankful that we were able to visit with her this past summer, and will always laugh when we are reminded of her tales of her precious pearl-handled gun . . . What a beauty that gun is! As always, our prayers are with you all.

Mom loved country music, crocheting, watching Price Is Right(she always said Bob Barker was her boyfriend), spending time with the grandchildren and great grand children. She will be missed but we know that mom is now in a better place with Grandma Gladys and Grandpa Fred. LOVE YOU MOM!!!
