Theresa Pierce Obituary

PIERCE,
Theresa Marie Salvatore
Born March 1, 1918 in Irelandville, NY, passed away November 27, 2007 at the Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls, NY. She is survived by her four sons, Ron (Fran), Bill (Linda), Dick (Pat), and special son and caregiver, Rob; and sister, Nancy of Bokeela, FL. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Theresa was predeceased by her husband, William Pierce, Sr.; brothers, Leo, Dan, Carmen; and sisters, Edith and Rose. She was a member of the Saint Theresa Society and a communicant of Saint Mary's of the Lake, Watkins Glen. Theresa's legacy was her love of family and raising her four boys. She will always be lovingly remembered as a hardworking women; full of love and compassion for those around her. Her family is especially appreciative of the love and care she received while at the Seneca View Nursing Facility. Donations in Theresa's memory may be made to Saint Mary's of the Lake Church, PO Box 289, Watkins Glen, NY 14891; or to Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility, 220 Steuben St., Montour Falls, NY 14865. Friends and family may call at the Haughey-Wood Funeral Home, Watkins Glen, on Friday, November 30th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's of the Lake Church, Watkins Glen, on Saturday, December 1, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. with Father Paul Bonacci, celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Watkins Glen.
