Age 30, of Eagle Drive in Painted Post, and Taipei, Taiwan, died Monday, December 3, 2007, in Big Flats as a result of an automobile accident. She is survived by her husband, John Chung-Tian Yang; her parents, Ting-Ya Huang and Kuo-Sheng Huang Fang; two sisters, Yi Lan (Cheng Hui Lin) Huang and Leah (Jacob Hsin Yi Chen); one niece, Serene Chen; and a nephew, Nino Chen. It is fortunate to have known Vanessa as a friend. She took on the role of a compassionate sister that I never had. You will be dearly missed.

I am a professor of Vanessa's, she was an angel. She was extremely smart and a very hard worker. Her family should be proud of her. I am so very sorry for your loss.
