Ted Farmer Obituary
Passed away Sunday, December 9, 2007 following an illness at the age of 51. Ted was born on August 6, 1956 in Elmira son of Robert A. & Ellen P. Friends Farmer. He was employed with Chemung County ARC for many years. Teds interests included music and dancing. He was a member of the Jackson Summit Baptist Church. Ted enjoyed the Holidays with his many friends and loving family who survive; his mother and step father, Ellen & Richard Hackett, Pine City; his father and step mother, Robert A. & Rose Farmer, Millerton, PA; siblings, Richard Farmer, Rome, NY; Denis Farmer, Elmira; Babie Reece, Elmira; Terry Farmer, Elmira; Raymond Farmer, MO; Tina Hackett, NC; Elizabeth Christman, NC; Several nieces, nephews and many family friends. Family and friends will be received at Caywood's Funeral Home & Gardens, 1126 Broadway, Southport on Thursday December 13, 2007 from 12–2 p.m. funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with The Rev. Doug Hodge officiating. Interment will take place in the Alder Run Cemetery at the family's convenience. Mr. Farmers family would like to thank the staff of the ARC Liberty St. Home and Hospice for the wonderful care provided Mr. Farmer during his final days. May God Bless Each of You.
