WALTON Edward S.
Age 79 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Tuesday December 11, 2007 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Mr. Walton was born December 23, 1927 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Henry and Arabella Knapp Walton. He was a Veteran of serving his country with the US. He married his wife, Carolyn Ann Kennedy Walton, on September 23, 1950 and they recently celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary on September 23, 2007. Ed was a plumber having worked on The Nine Mile Nuclear Plant and was a member of The Plumbers and Pipefitters' Union Local #267 in Ithaca, NY which had been Local #109. He was a courier for Chemung Canal Trust Company and also loved giving children hayrides at Bradley Farms at Halloween. Mr. Walton drove Tractor Trailer cross country for United and Allied Van Lines. Ed was an avid Bingo player Ed was pre-deceased by his parents, his daughter Kathleen J. Walton Cramer who passed away on March 18, 2003, his granddaughter Ashley Nicole Cramer who passed away on February 27, 2007, and by his brothers Henry Walton and Bill Walton and his sister Ethel Sutton. Ed was a very loving and caring husband, father, grandpa, and great grandpa and treasured the time he spent with them. He would always give to others before himself. Ed loved his special pet grandchildren Morris and Big Guy He will be loved and missed and remain in our hearts forever. Mr. Walton is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years Carolyn Ann Kennedy Walton; his loving children: Chris & Ed Mathews of Lowman, NY, Debbie & Pete Palmieri of Breesport, NY, Eddie & Julie Walton of Elmira Heights, NY, Joyce Callahan & Bryan Gregory of Elmira, NY, Patti & Dave Stedman of Carpentersville, Illinois, Nancy & George Levack of Elmira, NY, Suzy & Steve Pesesky of Elmira, NY, and David & MaryJane Walton of Chemung, NY; son-in-law: David L. Cramer of Wellsburg, NY; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters: Cora Howe of Nelson, PA and Doris Hall of Horseheads, NY; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Joyce & Earl Benedict of Elmira Heights, NY, Loraine Kennedy of Elmira, NY, and Bob & Mary Kennedy of Elmira, NY; Edith (Mrs. Henry) Walton of Horseheads, NY; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends including his very special friends and neighbors Carl & Donna Saunders. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Lynch Funeral Home 318 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY on Thursday December 13, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mr. Walton's Funeral Services will be held at The Funeral Home on Friday December 14, 2007 at 12 Noon with Rev. Patrick L. Holder officiating. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira, NY where Full Military Honors will be accorded Mr. Walton.

Carolyn and Family,
