Walter Zubriski Obituary
Funeral services were held for Walter Zubriski of Grand Prairie, TX on Thursday, December 6, 2007. Burial followed in Dallas - Ft. Worth National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Walter passed away Friday, November 30, 2007, with Parkinson's disease. He was born October 18, 1927 in Elmira, son of the late Stephen and Macrina Zubriski. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mildred; children, Robert, Steve, Nina and Feliccia; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, John of Elmira Heights; and sister, Anna Zubriski Harabin of Elmira. He was predeceased by his parents; and sister, Sophie Dooley of Elmira. Walter served his country for 33 years with the U.S. Marine Corps which included 2 tours in Vietnam. He was an active member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Grand Prairie.
